For me, probably the best part of racing is the machines. They haul the racers from one end of the circuit to the other, sometimes in style, sometimes less so. They are always interesting. The engineering, the artistry, the craftsmanship.
The machines have evolved since the earliest days of racing when they were completely hand built. Now, the most recent machines arrive almost ready to run in factory crates. The innovative way the race engineers find to stretch the rules make for the most fascinating machines.
