Our newest acquisition.

We bought this new as a Demo from the dealer in August of 2024. After a year of ownership, and roughly 20,000 miles, it’s been fantastic.

Modifications as of 30 August, 2025 are limited to:

The factory Mazda receiver hitch, and 7 pin wiring harness.
The factory Mazda crossbars and flat-rack for the roof.
Weathertech floor mats all the way through.

About 1500 miles ago we had a tire shred itself on the highway. This was most likely due to some unseen debris. It wasn’t a full blown blow out, but the tire went down to nothing in just a few seconds. No damage to the car was done, but the tire was trashed.

These are the factory installed Falken Wildpeaks. I have a LOT of history with them on the Land Cruiser as well. These are great tires. The car was still driveable to clear it from the traffic lane. This was even with the tires fully deflated and damaged.
