This was taken up on the Brushy Creek Regonal Trail, but not on the pedestrian gravel side. This is on “gum drop” which is one of the little MTB trails peppered all through the area. It’s just across the creek from the main part of the BCRT, in fact if you were standing where I took this and simply turned your head to the left you’d see the main trail with all its joggers, jogging strollers, walkers, and dogs running amok through the trees. Riding on the south side of the creek, you’re a world away from all of that.
It should be pretty obvious by now that I love riding my cross bike. I think it’s the versatility more than anything, I can ride tarmac, dirt, trails, or gravel all on this bike, without worry of breaking a wheel, splitting a sidewall.
